LinkedIn Activity Tracking Customization Options

vizrm’s LinkedIn CRM Integration allows users to track their LinkedIn activity without any effort in their CRM as completed activities. The activity type can be customized for different LinkedIn Activities to make this integration more powerful.

To customize activity types, go to the vizrm browser extension settings (https://app.vizrm.com/extension-settings), and at the bottom of the page, select from the dropdown menus the CRM activity type that should be used when auto-tracking LinkedIn activities for:

  1. LinkedIn Messages

  2. LinkedIn Connection Requests.

Confirm the setting by clicking the Button “Save” at the bottom of the page.

Note: If custom activity types are used, these need to be configured first in the CRM.

Tracking LinkedIn Messages in CRM

vizrm allows users to track messages sent through LinkedIn automatically when sending a LinkedIn message from your browser, either on a LinkedIn Profile page or the messaging center.

If the contact has been added/matched to the CRM via vizrm or has been matched via LinkedIn URL, a checkbox “track in CRM” is added to the message bottom menu in the LinkedIn Messenger. When this is checked, and a message is sent through the messenger, it will be automatically tracked in the CRM as an activity record. The message body will be added to the activity as a note, the activity status will be complete, and the activity completion date will be the date and time of the message sent.

Note: this feature requires the vizrm browser extension (https://app.vizrm.com/extension-download) to be installed.

Tracking LinkedIn Connection Requests in CRM

vizrm allows users to track connection requests sent within LinkedIn automatically.

When a contact has been added/matched to the CRM via vizrm or has been matched via LinkedIn URL, a checkbox “Log in CRM” is added to the connection request dialogue. When this is checked, and the request is sent, it will be automatically tracked in the CRM as an activity record. The activity status will be complete, and the activity completion date will be the date and time of the message sent.

Note: this feature requires the vizrm browser extension (https://app.vizrm.com/extension-download) to be installed.
