About CRM deals in vizrm

vizrm uses CRM deals to highlight the network effects of overlapping buying groups in an organization and also provides tools to manage the associations between deals and person records effectively (deal participants).

Filter by Deals

The deal section of the chart sidebar lists all open deals associated with the organization currently selected on the org chart. The list contains the deal title, deal stage, value, and close date from the CRM.

Hover over a deal in this list and select the funnel icon to filter the org chart by this deal. This will minimize any contact records on the chart that are not associated with this deal. The filter can be removed by clicking the same button again (which shows an x-icon when the filter is active).

Group by Deals

In the deals list, the “Create Group” Button with a folder icon will add a group to the org chart underneath the currently selected organization and automatically associate any contacts linked to the deal in CRM with this group. The group title will include the deal name, and the group description will include a URL to the deal record in the CRM.

Add & remove participants to deals

To edit the association between a person and a deal, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the deal section of the chart sidebar

  2. Filter the org chart by a deal by clicking the button with the funnel icon next to a deal in the list

  3. Hover over the person record on the org-chart that needs editing and click the contact menu

  4. From the contact menu, either select “Add to deal” or “Remove from deal”

The person/contact record will be automatically associated with the deal in CRM, or the association will be removed, depending on the selection.
