About Activities in vizrm org charts

From the vizrm org chart, CRM activities can be viewed, created, and marked completed. To access and view activities, navigate to the activities section in the chart sidebar on the left (this is the fourth option from the top in the chart sidebar menu).

Viewing CRM Activities from the vizrm org chart

The activities section of the chart sidebar shows all CRM activities associated with the currently selected contact — both open tasks and completed (done) activities. This gives you the full history of every touchpoint with that person, directly in the context of the org chart.

Filtering Activities

Use the filter controls at the top of the activities panel to focus on what matters:

  • Status: Toggle between All, Open, or Done to switch between pending tasks and completed activity history.

  • Due Date Range: Filter activities by a specific date range, or use the quick selectors for This Quarter or Next Quarter.

  • Search: Use the search bar to find a specific activity by keyword.

Creating new CRM Activities from the vizrm org chart

There are two ways to create a new CRM activity directly from the vizrm org chart:

  1. From the chart sidebar's activity section, select "Create Activity"

  2. From the chart menu, click the plus icon, then select "Create activity"

In the following dialogue, provide a subject, activity type, and due date. Optionally, associate the new task with a CRM deal from this dialogue.

By clicking "save," the activity is created in the CRM and added to the activity section of the vizrm chart sidebar. Any currently selected heatmap views of the org chart will be updated.

Completing CRM Activities from the vizrm org chart

Open CRM activities can be marked as complete from the activities section in the chart sidebar panel by clicking the button with the checkmark icon next to the activity in the list. This will mark the activity as complete in the CRM and update any currently selected heatmap views of the org chart.
