About Org Chart Groups
Groups in vizrm are objects that can be used to organize contacts (e.g., by department, team, location, etc.) on the org chart. Group objects have a title, body description, and individual color. Groups are not synchronized with the CRM.
Creating a new group on the org chart
To create a group, click the + (plus icon) in the chart menu and select “add group” to start the group creation dialogue. In this dialogue, select the organization to which the group should be associated (if there are multiple organizations on the chart), provide a title and description for the group, and select a color for the group’s header. Click “save” to create the group. It will automatically appear on the org chart for the selected organization.
Editing and deleting groups
Details of a group can be edited via the contact menu: hover over a group and click on the three-dot icon to launch the menu. From here:
Edit details: change the title and description of the group
Change the group’s color
Remove the group from the chart.
Note: This will permanently delete the group. This action is only possible if there are no more person records associated with a group. Before deleting a group, all its persons need to be moved to a different place on the org chart or removed from the chart.
